Author Bio

Raven writes games, novels, short stories, and poetry. She thrives in lyrical and imaginative fiction. Though some of her work has a serious undertone, she approaches these themes with dark humor. Her upcoming novel, The WiLD, is a Science-Fantasy litRPG about an overweight youth who wants to play a physically demanding and lucid dreaming powered MMORPG VR game.

Chosen for it's Jewish lore of Golems and Sci-Fantasy technology, Raven's short story Wax & Wishes was published in Full Sail's Creative Writing Club's first Anthology in 2022. 
 

Raven spends her weekends singing as a second soprano at her local church and playing as an aarakockran parrot in Dungeons and Dragons. Suppose she’s not knee-deep in studies or joining virtual game jams as a narrative designer, you’ll find her cosplaying or drawing with her Wacom.

Her Associates of Science degree from Tidewater Community College makes the Science in her writings authentic and systematic. With her Bachelors in Creative Writing from Virginia Tech, she twists scientific theories with a magical flair. Upon her Bachelors' graduation, the Creative Writing department faculty granted her an award for poetry. She also received the Course Director's award for Writing for Games and Advanced Achiever award when she graduated with her MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University.
